Christian Science Nursing Staff
The Morning Light staff is the expression of the Manual Bylaw for the Christian Science nurse: "A member of The Mother Church who represents himself or herself as a Christian Science nurse shall be one who has a demonstrable knowledge of Christian Science practice, who thoroughly understands the practical wisdom necessary in a sick room, and who can take proper care of the sick." (Article VIII, Section 31, page 49)

At Morning Light, the Christian Science nurses endeavor to provide the loving, supportive atmosphere that is expectant of healing while upholding the perfection of God's creation. Our Christian Science nurses are dedicated to seeing healing and progress for each individual guest.

Board of Directors
The purpose of the Board of Directors is to provide support to Morning Light Foundation in each facet of its operations: Christian Science nursing care, Lodge operations, fund raising and administrative activities.

The Board is comprised of 4-9 members, all dedicated Christian Scientists. These members generally serve a minimum three-year term. Over the years, Morning Light Board members have amply represented experience in the professions of finance, accounting, law, business management and education. Fiduciary and legal responsibilities are discharged with the counsel of independent financial and legal professionals.

In all cases, the Board is guided in its decision-making through prayer and dedication to Morning Light's Mission, which is rooted in the truth that "God cares for man."
